Teenage Affluenza

I really like this clever use of Youtube as a medium for a not for profit organisation, World Vision.

An amusing parody of the harsh realities of suburban teenage life, it puts things in perspective. The number of comments it has generated is a testament to the level of engagement it has spurred in that "hard-to-reach" youth demo.

Manic Monday

Mondays. You've gotta hate them. They just come around too quick and it's back to the grindstone before you know it. Try fitting your life into 48 hours when all you are is tired...currently concerned about getting everything ready for our trip away, what John Howard thinks he is doing to aboriginal Australia (funny he's suddenly so interested after all those years) how involved Alan Didak was with the Melbourne gun man (yeah he gets into any stranger's car) and what shoes to wear to Mel and Kai's wedding. Truly big issues.
But its a start to my blogging life and I'll just take it one step at at time.
Question: if I'm so busy, how come I have time for this : )
